सकुशल मिले आरएसएस के पूर्व सरसंघचालक
मैसूर। राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ [आरएसएस] के पूर्व सरसंघचालक केएस सुदर्शन शुक्रवार सुबह पांच बजे से लापता हो गए हैं। हालांकि बाद में वह सकुशल मिल गए हैं। वह यहा सुबह पाच बजे घर से टहलने के लिए निकले थे। उसके बाद से उनका पता नहीं था। बताया जाता है कि सुदर्शन अपने रिश्तेदार के घर ठहरे थे। काफी देर तक उनके नहीं लौटने पर रिश्तेदारों ने पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। पुलिस उन्हें ढूंढ़ रही थी।
इस बीच, संघ के प्रवक्ता राम माधव ने सुदर्शन की गुमशुदगी की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि सुदर्शन का सुबह से पता नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि कई बार सुदर्शन बिना सुरक्षा के भी मॉर्निग वॉक पर निकल जाते हैं, लेकिन दो घटे में टहलकर वापस आ जाते हैं। लेकिन आज वह 11 बजे तक नहीं लौटे हैं। हालांकि बाद में सुदर्शन सकुशल वापस लौट आए हैं।

सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर की आचार्याओं ने सामूहिक रक्षाबंधन
भुवनेश्वर :vsk रक्षाबंधन के मौके पर राजधानी भुवनेश्वर व कटक सहित प्रदेश के कई प्रमुख शहरों में उत्सव का माहौल रहा। नन्हें बच्चों से लेकर युवाओं तक रक्षा बंधन का उत्साह साफ देखा गया। मौसम अनुकूल होने की वजह से बहन भाई का यह पावन त्यौहार धूम धाम से मनाया गया। बहनों ने अपने भाई हाथ में राखी बांधकर उनसे अभय दान मांगा। भाइयों ने बहन का मुंह मीठा कर रक्षा करने का वचन दिया। रक्षा बंधन के अवसर पर विभिन्न शिक्षानुष्ठानों में छुट्टी के बावजूद सामूहिक तौर पर रक्षाबंधन पर्व का पालन किया गया। सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर की आचार्याओं ने सामूहिक रक्षाबंधन में हिस्सा लिया।MONDAY, JULY 30, 2012

Mumbai, 29 July : “Looking at the global circumstances, the society needs more people like Bal Apte, who live the ideals in real life”, said Sarsanghchalak Mohanji Bhagvat at the condolence meeting of Pro.Bal Apte here. “He was our personal philosopher guide friend, whose discipline, philosophy & principles impressed upon the ‘Karyakartas’ (social workers) like us” he further added.
The Condolence meeting held at Poddar College near Matunga here at evening on Sunday by the followers of late Pro.Bal Apte was attented by large gathering of the senior social & political workers and senior advocates & judges of Mumbai High Court. RSS sah-sarKaryavah (Jt. Gen Secretary) H. Dattatreyaji, former Loksabha speaker Manohar Joshi, ABVP National president Prof. Milind Marathe, BJP’s General Secretary (Org.) Ram Lal, RSS Konkan Prant Sanghachalak Bapusaheb Mokashi, AAWI president Adv. Rajiv Patil, Balasaheb’s nephew senior advocate Ram Apte and BJP Mumbai president Raj K Purohit were on stage.
Sarsanghchalak Mohan ji Bhagvat elaborated the qualities of Bal Apte in his speech. “When I started work as a ‘Pracharak’ (RSS Fulltimer), before I could meet him, I only heard about his fearful discipline & principles and was initially not daring to go before him”, remembered Bhagvat. “Although after meeting him, one could sense the golden heart behind his strong disciplinary nature. He was very straight forward & fearless speaker. He had daring to tell the truth to anybody he came across, he had earned that right thru his principled life.”
“After meeting him, we could sense his guardian nature. We had no afraid to accept our wrongs before him than others because of this guardian nature. Any human can develop his personality by hard work but the people like Bal Apte have some heavenly qualities which enhance their personality,” said Bhagvat while paying his tributes to Prof Apte. “When a person achieves heights, he tends to cut-off from the common people. But Bal Apte was an exception. Living simple life when you can afford anything is a very hard task now-a-days and Balasaheb has put forward an exceptional example of the same. To live like this, you must do great ‘Tapasya’,” Bhagvat added.
Bhagvat added further, “Its very difficult to have a great heart with the God-gifted creativity, the rear combination of which Prof. Apte had. Although we have lost the great soul, we can follow his footsteps in our life to achieve our national goal.” Bhagvat also remembered how Apte declined to become a minister in Morarji bhai Desai led Janata Govt post-emergency and chose to work for the organisation of ABVP. He became a Rajyasabha member only after the organisation decided about it.
Bhagvat called upon the workers to keep fresh Apte’s memories thru the hard work to achieve national goals, as “this would be the only tributes we can pay to the departed soul”. Balasaheb Apte never thought about his personal name & fame, but devoted his entire life to a great cause of nation building. He never thought about achievements – personal or organisational – but always remained resolute about the work-culture, as he believed that that’s the only thing which will build the nation, Bhagvat added. He reminded the gathering that “our work starts where the people like Balasaheb rest as we have to take the cause further.”

स्वामी लक्ष्मणानंद सरस्वती जी के हत्यारों के खिलाफ नए सिरे से जांच के लिए स्वामी लक्ष्मणानंद सरस्वती श्रद्धांजलि समिति द्वारा मांग कर राजभवन के सामने धरना

समाज सुधारक स्वामी लक्ष्मणानंद सरस्वती जी के हत्यारों के खिलाफ नए सिरे से जांच के लिए स्वामी लक्ष्मणानंद सरस्वती श्रद्धांजलि समिति द्वारा मांग कर राजभवन के सामने धरना दिया गया है। समिति के राज्य संपादक डॉ लक्ष्मीकान्त दास के अध्यक्षता में आयोजित इस सभा में वक्ताओं ने कहा कि 2008 अगस्त 23 तारीख के दिन कंधमाल के जलेसपटा आश्रम में स्वामी लक्ष्मणानंद एवं उनके चार सहयोगियों की हत्या की गई। सरकार द्वारा कुछ लोगों को गिरफ्तार भी किया गया। लेकिन मुख्य आरोपी एवं षडयंत्रकारियों को पकड़ने के लिए सरकार द्वारा कोई कदम नहींउठाया गया। इसी कारण समिति की तरफ से 22 तारीख से एक सप्ताह तक सभी जिला महकमा में धरना देने के साथ साथ जिलाधीशों के जरिए राज्यपाल को स्मारक पत्र दिया गया है। गणधरना के अंतिम दिवस पर प्रो.डॉ रत्नाकर चइनी एवं स्वामी प्राणरूपा नंद सरस्वती के नेतृत्व में धरना के बाद राज्यपाल को एक ज्ञापन दिया गया है। जस्टिस शरत चन्द्र महापात्र के निधन के बाद जांच कमीशन के नए जांच अधिकारी की नियुक्ति की भी मांग की गई है।
काश्मीर सुरक्षा मंच ओडिशा की तरफ से एक विशाल धरना का आयोजन किया गया

काश्मीर सुरक्षा मंच ओडिशा की तरफ से एक विशाल धरना का आयोजन किया गया। जम्मू काश्मीर समस्या एवं इसके समाधान के लिए भारत सरकार द्वारा दिलीप पदगांवकर के नेतृत्व में एक तीन सदस्यीय कमेटी को वहां भेजा गया था। इस कमेटी द्वारा दिए गए विवरण सभी को आश्चर्यचकित कर दिया है। इस कमेटी द्वारा जम्मू काश्मीर से भारतीय सेना को वापस लाने, सुरक्षा वाहिनी के विशेष अधिकार को खत्म करने, आतंकवादियों से बातचीत करने, नियंत्रण रेखा पर ढिलाई देने जैसे प्रसंग उठाया गया है। पूरे देश में इस रिपोर्ट का विरोध किया जा रहा है। इसी आधार पर भुवनेश्वर में भी आज काश्मीर सुरक्षा मंच ओडिशा द्वारा राजभवन के सामने धरना प्रदर्शन किया गया है। मंच के आवाहक डॉ जतीन महान्ति के नेतृत्व में एक प्रतिनिधि दल राजभवन जाकर राष्ट्रपति के उद्देश्य में एक स्मारक पत्र प्रदान किया। सुकान्त पाणीग्राही के संयोजन में आयोजित इस गणधरना में अशोक कुमार साहू ने काश्मीर समस्या पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।

On 13th October,2010 to find out a solution to Jammu & Kashmir problem. The committee submitted its report on 12th October, 2011. After sitting over the report for a
Period of Seven months, the home ministry released it on 24thMay, 2012. This report has not taken care of the ground realities of the state and so it is not acceptable to the people of India . If the recommendations of the committee are implemented, theKashmir problem will be more complicated and it will endanger the unity and integrity of the nation as the report has given more priority to the demands of extremists. A nationwide protest is going to be launched against the Dillip Padgaonkar report. In this connection, a mass rally will be conducted in front of the RAJBHAVAN by Kashmir Surakshya Mancha, Odisha, which has been stated by its convenor Dr.Jatin Mohanty.
Further it is to be stated that the Mancha is going to start its program of movement for the above purpose in all district centres from 23rd July to 27th July.

Update on ground situation
In his first interaction with media persons, the Corps Commander of 15th Corps, Lt. Gen. Om Prakash has been forthright in stating that despite considerable improvement in security scenario of the valley, sporadic events of militants striking at isolated targets have taken place at three or four places in recent past. In particular, he said that the broad-day attack in Pampore that took the toll of an army jawan is of serious nature.
According to knowledgeable sources, the ground situation is that infiltration from LoC has come down considerably not because of Pakistan containing it but owing to the Army stepping up surveillance and taking rapid and firm action whenever and wherever infiltration bid is made. The strategy of pinning down a posse of nearly 800 well-trained and well armed Pakistani terrorists to their side of the LoC and denying them any chance of infiltration is causing deep frustration to their handlers in Islamabad. The result is that external terrorists hitherto enjoying a free day in Kashmir are suddenly finding their ranks shrinking and new recruitment becoming elusive. Recently security forces intercepted mobile telephone messages from the terrorist commanders in Poonch-Rajouri sector making fervent plea to the underground commanders of militant organization in the valley to send them reinforcement as their messages to handlers in PoK and Islamabad did not yield them any positive results. Pakistani handlers of militants in Kashmir pressurize them to undertake some bizarre activity that would convey the message across Kashmir that militancy is on its way back in the valley and the establishment would not be allowed to maintain the security grid. For quiet some time, reports are coming in that recruitment to the rank and file of militant cadres within Kashmir is also drying up. Kashmiri youth are evincing lesser and lesser interest in the fighting and making Kashmir a hostage to the oppressive covetousness of Pakistan.
While we may try to wish that these sporadic incidents of violence in the valley are mere expression of desperation on the part of beleaguered militants, the Corps Commander has rightly said that there could be some nefarious designs with the militants to conduct fidayeen type attacks on army formations. The fidayeen literally mean voluntary suicides, some of whom we have seen in the course of armed insurgency in Kashmir. It is one of the tactics in which a bomber ready to take his own his life blows up a targeted object causing large scale deaths and destruction. Undoubtedly, behind the recent acts of violence in different places in Kashmir valley is the desperation of the militants of having been pinned down by security forces to their hideouts. At the same time, what makes this handful of underground terrorists more desperate and, therefore, more violent, is that they are no more receiving support from the local population especially the youth. It is also true that their external handlers want them to be activated and indulge in large scale violence in the valley so that an impression is created that Kashmir insurgency is of indigenous nature and Pakistani gun wielders have nothing to do with it. This would vindicate Pakistan's long standing policy of denial.
There could be one more reason for sporadic strikes by the militants. They are aware that the Army and the State Government do not see eye to eye on the issue of withdrawal of AFSPA. By causing attacks intermittently, the handlers of militants expect the army to re-assert its stand that militancy has only come down but not finished and thereby exacerbate divergence between the Army and the State Government. The Corps Commander dealt with this question with superb statesmanship. He said the subject was not within his jurisdiction but in the jurisdiction of the Defence Ministry. More importantly, political consensus is also essential to come to grips with the issue of withdrawal of special powers.
Corps Commander's views show that the army is keeping itself fully abreast of the ground situation and anticipates what could be the future course of action of the enemy and what precautionary measures are necessary to be in place to meet any exigency. It is a matter of relief that the army is not going to lower the guard in any case and is fully prepared to meet the situation as it unfolds. The level of normalcy that has been reached has to be maintained and improved. Since most of the allegations against the army of violating human rights have been formally disproved and rubbished, and in some cases the authorities have taken the severest action against defaulters when they were brought to book, the cumulative effect is that hatred and animus against the army whipped up by inimical elements have considerably come down. This is a very healthy sign and the army deserves to be given three chairs for maintaining the highest standard of discipline and sense of duty. What the people of the State need to understand far all times is that the Indian Army is their own army, a force closely integrated into the social fabric of the nation.

Odisha: Probe begins into Chadak Mela lathicharge case
Revenue Divisional Commissioner (central division) Arabinda Padhee has arrived in Odisha's Balasore district on a three-day visit to probe into the lathi charge incident at Chandaneswar Chadak Mela that had left over 40 devotees injured three months ago.
He visited the spot and interacted with the people, officials and cops on Wednesday. After offering prayers at Chandaneswar Shiva temple, he visited different places where the devotees were charged with batons by the violent police. He too interacted with the locals and took a stock of the situation.
Sources said police had resorted to lathi charge on devotees, who had gathered to participate in Chadak mela, a famous festival of the northern Balasore and neighbouring West Bengal, following a scuffle between them and the cops on April 12. People's representatives and scribes also were not spared.
The devotees also had retaliated hurting over a dozen cops including two DSPs. A police van was set ablaze. While the devotees claimed the police beat them mercilessly after the ceremonial mud (a mixture of mud and sandalwood paste) thrown at other devotees fell on them, the cops said the devotees first attacked when they were averting a molestation bid on a girl following a complaint by her parents.
Earlier, the district police in a face saving attempt had placed six cops under suspension holding them responsible for the incident. The locals also had observed 12-hour Bhogarai bandh demanding judicial inquiry into the incident.
The RDC said after field visits he interacted with the members of the temple managing committee, sevayats, members from the civil society groups, local MLA, Sarapanchs, PS members, Zilla Parisad member, local
magistrate, collector Akhila Bihari Ota and SP Rajesh Kumar to know the details about the incident. “The local residents handed over their written grievances and some
demands. We are examining whether they can be implemented,” Padhee said besides adding that the deposition of witnesses who have submitted their affidavits for the probe would be held on Thursday.
The probe report, which was to be submitted within 60 days of the incident, has been delayed over a month. While the residents here expect an impartial probe, the RDC said he would submit his report to the Government soon.
भगवान जगन्नाथ ही सृष्टि के आधार

भुवनेश्वर : स्थानीय बाया बाबा मठ परिसर में श्री जगन्नाथ परिषद द्वारा आयोजित 52 वें प्रवचन तथा भजन समारोह में कुराल मंदिर के मठाधीश महंत दधी बामन दास ने कहा कि भगवान जगन्नाथ ही सृष्टि के आधार हैं।
भगवान जगन्नाथ को परम ब्रह्मंा परमेश्वर बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि जगन्नाथ से ही सारी सृष्टि का आरंभ हुआ है और उन्ही में सृष्टि का विलय होने वाला है। महन्त श्री ने कहा कि पुरी में भगवान अपने स्वरुप में विद्यमान हैं और समग्र मानव जाति का मार्ग दर्शन कर रहे हैं। अपने प्रवचन में महन्त जी ने कहा कि पुरी धाम जैसा तीर्थ पूरे विश्व में दुर्लभ है। यहां खुद जगत के स्वामी विद्यमान हैं उनकी प्रतिमा ही सर्वधर्म समन्वय का प्रतीक है। इस सालाना प्रवचन कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत भजन समारोह का भी आयोजन किया गया जिसमें गीत-गोविन्द से लेकर अनेक भजन उपस्थापित किए गये। नन्हे कलाकार प्रत्युष कर द्वारा सुमधुर कंठ से गाए गये गित गोविन्द ने सभी का दिल मोह लिया। गीत-गोविन्द भगवान जगन्नाथ को सर्वाधिक पसंद भजन है। इसे कवि जयदेव ने लिखा था और जनश्रृती है कि एक पद को पुरा करने में जब कवि जयदेव असफल रहे थे तो खुद भगवान जगन्नाथ ने उन्ही का रुप धारण कर पद पुरा किया था।
